Let The Sea Ranch Resort and the Beachside Bistro be your home base for 2016 Outer Banks Taste of the Beach!

We are deeper into winter on the Outer Banks of NC, and the good news is we can already start looking forward to the many great events of the “shoulder season”. As many of you know, the shoulder season covers those months between winter and summer. The shoulder season has gotten much more vibrant in the past handful of years, and there are many great events that are worthy of planning a trip around. We will talk about more of them in future posts, but this go around, we want to cover the upcoming 2016 Outer Banks Taste of the Beach.

If you are not familiar with it, The Outer Banks Taste of the Beach is one of the MAIN events for our culinary masters on the beach to strut their stuff. We happily include our Executive Chef Sam Larson on the list of talented Outer Banks chefs, and he will be throwing an Oyster Outing at the Beachside Bistro on March 19 from 4-9 PM as part of the festivities. Sam will also be in the Grand Tasting on Sunday, March 20th, which is the event that will close the festivities.

Also, Executive Chef Sam Larson will be running small plate specials all week at the Beachside Bistro during the Festival. It should be a great week to experience the great food and drink here on the Outer Banks!
