The OBX is known as a world famous vacation destination by many who love this place but less people know about the growing food and beverage scene . The Outer Banks has seen growth in the number and variety of craft beer-based events and establishments that celebrate great beers. Let’s face it, a beer on the beach, by definition is a GREAT beer, but having destination events celebrating craft beer and craft-beer friendly establishments is also great. Here is a breakdown of a few key events we have celebrating Craft Beer on the Outer Banks:
Outer Banks Beer Fests – This event is based around Craft Brew Week, culminating in wonderful craft brew festival with music! The festival has become a destination event for many people in recent years.
Brewtag – To celebrate the birth of flight here, this event features flying kegs. Literally. It also has beer to enjoy! This is a unique event that has been getting rave reviews.

Trio: Trio has become a favorite of locals and tourists alike who are looking for a highly curated selection of beers on tap as well as for purchase to take home. One of the owners, John Minnich, has brought a passion for great beer to fruition in fantastic setting.
Outer Banks Brewing Station: This great facility has become very popular in the past years. Known for making their own brews and winning awards, the Brewing Station is a great place for the whole family. Their backyard is great for a hang and they also have top notch music.
Corolla Beergarden: Located in our northern corner, the Corolla Beer Garden is a fantastic place to enjoy a brew and some music. It’s a secret spot, and only open in the summer season!
Beachside Bistro: A small plug for one of the last standing, truly beachfront places to have a cold beer!
Brew-Thru: A classic OBX experience!
