If you like local, delicious OBX food…

New(ish) to the Outer Banks event list is the Soundside Live Food Truck Showdown.  This is an event not many will want to miss! Several of our most delicious, local restaurants are bringing their most delicious appetizers, desserts and entrees to the Soundside Event site on September 9th. Try a little something from a few different food trucks while you enjoy local live music! The first Food Truck Showdown was a hit and this one is sure to be as well with even MORE food trucks in attendance.

If you’re crafty…

Have you been to Manteo? If not now is the time to visit. Every Tuesday of September the Magnolia Craft Fair at Magnolia Marketplace will be occurring. Not only does Manteo have its own quaint ambiance, this craft fair does as well with an array of local artisans and their work. Be sure to make your way to Manteo, NC on your Outer Banks vacation!

If you’re into aquatic films…

A three-day long film festival will take place at Jennette’s Pier, Dare County Arts Council, and The Outer Banks Brewing Station. The festival is family friendly and features a variety of films from locally created to nationally filmed.

If you want a family oriented event…

First Fridays in Manteo are chock-full of family-friendly activities. First Fridays take place on the first Friday of every month through December. The event hosts artisans, magic, live music, a rock-climbing wall and more. Visit the Town of Manteo’s website for more details!
